Meet the Staff
Frank Overton, Urban, Youth and ComputersIf
you ask Frank what he does at the Discovery Center he will probably
answer "Cause trouble." Frank is always changing, upgrading or starting
something that will impact everyone around him. Most of the time the
changes are for the better! However, change is always uncomfortable and
so we don't mind giving him a hard time. When Frank is at the
Discovery Center; he's usually working on computer systems. When we
don't see him; he's often out working with youth or urban youth
workers. When he's not working; you can find Frank playing with his
kids and their army of friends. To learn what mischief Frank has been

April Ellefsen, Music Teacher
April
Ellefsen has spent over seven years teaching piano and music education
classes to kids of all ages,
all over San Diego County.
April brings music and education together in an exciting program for
the community she also calls home.
April also enjoys drinking strong coffee and working in the Discovery
Cafe on Monday mornings. One day she hopes to aspire to become a
gourmet at-home cook, but for now she'll probably continue to set
things on fire that weren't intended to be.
